This popular and historical city enjoys a variety of seasonal events such as Sakura Cherry Blossom Festival in April, historical parade in June and more. Each month showcases at least one big local festival including traditional performing arts.
The mountains and the sea can be reached by bike in around ½ hour and the school holds regular excursions.

The School
Located in the modern International Exchange Centre also holding the public library and ideally located near the town centre with its historical buildings, parks, museums and sport facilities.

Optional Accommodation
Takes out the hassle and expense of finding your own accommodation, all guest family homes and apartments are of a high standard and within easy reach of the school.
There are two types of accommodation in Kanazawa:
- Host Family - single half board (breakfast plus lunch or dinner).
Host Family provides all amenities including bedding and towels, and dietary, health or religious requirements are taken into consideration. Commuting time to school is 20-50 minutes. During the summer season, students may be accommodated in the suburbs of Kanazawa.
- Apartment - single fully equipped apartment; self-catering.
Apartments are shared with 4 or 5 other students.

How to Apply:
Step 1: Choose the course you would like to participate in. If you don't quite see what you are looking for, email us at languages@launchpadaustralia.com and we can help you find a course that suits you.
Step 2: Once you have chosen your course, email us to check availability.
Step 3: Fill out the
Application Form and fax to Launchpad Australia on 03 9445 9375. Remember to indicate on the application form your method of paying the deposit. Deposit is required for you to be able to secure your place on the project. Launchpad Australia accept bank cheque, money order or direct deposit.
Step 4: The final balance will be required 90 days prior to your departure from Australia, or if you are departing within 90 days, full payment is required at time of booking.
